29.9.22 Recycling
This week we have looked at recycling and what we can reduce, reuse and recycle in our nursery and our homes. We went litter picking in the playground to see if we could add litter to the recycling bins.

We have been interested in how we look after our pets over the past few weeks. To help us we invited Miss Tinniswood with Winnie, Mrs Knighton with Baldrick , Mrs Burns with Saffy and Nessa to nursery to explain how they look after them.
We have been taking a closer look at objects in ELC this week. We used the microscope to see things up to x25 closer. Our favourite things to look at were out hands, leaves and an orange.
We had a visit from a Police Officer today with the quad bike. We watched him go around the field on it, listened to the siren and seen the lights flashing. We all enjoyed having a seat on the bike.
A group of ELC children went to watch all the super fast cyclists go past on their way through EYemouth.
We are learning how to keep ourselves safe in nursery. We make sure the gates are all closed and the environment is safe and tidy to use by doing daily checks.
We have been using water in our play outside, experimenting with different coloured water and filling different sizes of containers.
We have really enjoyed the first few weeks in nursery, making new friends and exploring our outdoor garden in the beautiful sunshine.
We enjoyed demonstrating our sports skills to all our family and friends.
We have enjoyed learning the Fischy music and actions.
Over the last few weeks we have been visiting our local beach. We have explored the rock pools, made sand castles and patterns and had great fun together.
We visited the Co-op to give them decorations for the shop for the Queens Jubilee.
