2.6.22 Jubilee Celebrations
We had great fun in the build up to the Queens Jubilee celebrations. We baked Victoria Sponge cakes, made crowns and joined in with the rest of the school to celebrate.

We had our first visit to the P1 classroom. We got to explore all the fun activities we can do when we are in P1.
We collected flowers, leaves and grass to help us make some delicious looking mud cakes outside this week.
We were busy playing with our new mud pit trucks this week when the tractor grass cutter came to say hello. We were very excited to watch it and show off our new toys.
Our Parents and Grandparents came to join in the fun of flying starts. We made our own play dough and had a great time making a mess with gloop and shaving foam.
Using loose parts both inside and outside nursery we have been learning all about symmetry. We have enjoyed being creative making symmetrical pictures.
We have been learning about life cycles including chickens, frogs and butterflies. We are looking forward to having our own caterpillars to look after.
We have been using the large equipment to balance and roll on. We had to think how to move off the beam.
On the trim trail we have gained confidence in climbing on the big equipment.
This week has been National Science Week and along with the school we have been exploring seeds and growing. We have been crushing fruit and vegetables to see their seeds and we planted some peas too.
We have had a busy week in our garden with paint, water and den building.
