Our last few miles for our Tokyo challenge. This week, with the help of our friends and family, we covered over 300 miles. WOW! As a reward we went to the trim trail before brunch and had great fun.

We have been printing with all the vegetables we have been learning about and lots of Autumn coloured paint. It was messy and great fun!
After the heavy rain and wind the children were keen to help tidy up the garden and sort all the loose parts and equipment back into their correct pots.
In Nursery we have been demonstrating great team work, communication and cooperation, working together to build fantastic brick models. We worked together to problem solve and make some ramps for our cars to go fast.
Today we participated in Sticky Kids exercises to help us keep fit and healthy. We enjoyed joining in with the actions and songs.
Today we made soup for snack with the root vegetables we have been learning about. When it was cooked everyone had a taste of the soup. Some of us thought it was delicious.
Today we went out and about in our local woodland area to do a litter pick. We were excited to meet the tractor cutting the grass while we were out.
This week we have been learning about Autumn and Harvest. We have been exploring root vegetables that are harvested on farms.
Recycle, Recycle, Recycle. It is Recycle week this week.
We have been learning all about recycling and what materials can be recycled. We looked at the different recycle bins to put our paper, plastic and tins in.
We have been very responsible in Nursery this week. We have been busy helping Miss Blackie with the garden weeding, making sure there are no nettles to hurt us and our trees and plants are weed free for Autumn.

This week we have been demonstrating good team work in Nursery. We worked together in the mud kitchen to make chocolate soup. We also had great fun investigating rolling using the cable reels, piping and golf balls.
